The Clarence River Fishermen’s Co-operative (CRFC) has processing and product receival depots located in the townships of Maclean and Iluka. All our facilities are located within 3 hours South of Brisbane and 7 hours North of Sydney.
Substantial shore facilities have been established to provide CRFC customers the highest quality, most consistent supplies and most effective transport and distribution channels.
The Maclean Depot is located on the banks of the mighty Clarence River at 51-55 River Street, the largest river system on the eastern seaboard. Maclean is a small historic township famous for its quaint buildings and annual Maclean Highland Gathering.
One of our three CRFC fresh seafood and takeaway stores is located onsite at our Maclean Depot together with our Marine Chandlery and petrol station.
The Iluka Depot is located on the River banks of the mighty Clarence River near the entrance to the Pacific Ocean. Iluka is a small and popular fishing village famous for its beaches and 4 wheel drive beaches, wonderful camping grounds at Woody Head and world class Bundjalung National Park. This location allows our members, all commercial fishers, to directly unload fresh catch from the vessel to our factory for processing and packaging.
At both depots you will also find our Seafood Retail Outlets.
